Five years ago, TECwomen set out to create more opportunities for women and girls to explore technology, engineering and creative careers.
Since then, thousands of girls have been reached. Women have built new skills and confidence. Teachers have opened up new possibilities. Schools are connected with industry. Businesses, funders and partners have helped create new pathways into the future workforce.
Every impact creates a ripple. And together, those ripples are becoming a wave.

We want to ensure more women and girls can benefit from our programmes, and our region needs a workforce with the confidence, skills, and opportunities to thrive in an ever-changing world of work.

Reaching more girls across the far South West and opening their eyes to future careers through TECgirls.
100 TECgirls Youth Ambassadors
Supporting young people to gain experience, build confidence and help deliver our programmes.
150 UPLIFT alumni
Supporting women to build their skills and confidence through our UPLIFT programme, with 50 moving into new roles in future industries.
1,000+ teachers supported
Equipping educators with the confidence, skills and resources to inspire the next generation through CPD, clubs, education summits and events.

Building a programme of community events that inspires, connects and brings people together.
If just 20% of the girls taking part in our planned pathways next year progress into technology or engineering careers they could contribute approximately £73m in GVA to the UK economy every year. Over five years we could support 4,150 women into technology and engineering careers, adding £365m in annual GVA to the UK economy.
