TECwomen is a community interest company founded by Caitlin Gould in 2020. As an organisation TECwomen CIC runs all of the TECgirls events and projects, while continuing to explore how we help women thrive (not just survive) in digital and tech industries through our digitalUPLIFT programme.
Our Values
Globally and locally, women and girls remain underrepresented in education and the workforce across the technology, engineering, and creative digital sectors. Our projects seek to understand the challenges at a local level and develop interventions that combine practical support with system-level solutions to create lasting change.
We believe in collaboration, adaptation, innovation and inspiration.
As an organisation we are pro-women and girls but not at the cost of boys and men. We see anyone who identifies as female, and we welcome all genders to collaborate. Everyone is welcome at our events. Inclusivity is critical to our organisation and we always welcome suggestions on how we can improve.

We LOVE volunteers!
As a non-profit, a lot of what we do is made possible because of volunteers. We need help with events for young girls, role models to inspire them and mentors for our UPLIFT courses. We love volunteers from all genders and all backgrounds. Only requirement is a belief in our mission and a desire to make a difference!
